 This Case has Leprosy: Poor "soft-touch" Coating Adhesion July 5, 2010

I have purchased two of these cases, since I really like the color and the slim form-factor of the case. However, both cases had a problem with the textured "soft-touch" coating peeling off. The first case survived for approximately 6 months before it began peeling. The second case began peeling almost immediately. This is unacceptable, they've been cheaping out on materials and manufacturing quality. Regardless of capital input from the manufacturer, this product is not a value at any price. Don't waste your time with this case, you'll be disappointed and out approximately $20.
 Coating sucks May 9, 2010

Case fits very well, but coating started peeling in less than 5 days. I have since repainted the case and now it looks fine. The coating is unacceptable though, look elsewhere if you want a case that doesn't need maintenance. Also, the color is lighter than what is depicted at Amazon.

This was not my first feather, I love them. So simple, doesn't hide the already great design. The color is more pea soup?, then olive green as pictured. I don't mind it, I love green, it is just more on the drab side. FYI...

The Good:
1 Perfect fit to the iphone, snug fit not loose or bulky like other cases out there.
2 Very slim and sleek so you barely notice its there.
3 It just looks good.
The Bad:
1 As other reviewers have noticed, the case is thin and easier to crack than others, thats the trade off for having a less bulky case, big deal.
2 The case does not cover the phone completely so the metal trim is exposed especially on the bottom of the phone where microphone and plug are, after only a few months using this case I have noticed the metal trim is a little worn from not being covered.
3 Since the case does not cover the phone completely the screen is not elevated off the table or whatever you set it on, instead it sits on the metal trim.
4 NO shock protection. This case will not protect the phone if it is dropped.
over all the case is nice to look at and works for someone who is careful. The iPhone is too expensive to risk breaking before two years is up so I am going to get another case that covers the edges of the phone completely.

Very thin case -- not sure how much protection it will provide if (when) I drop it. The color is more of a greenish yellow. The surface provides enough grip so the phone doesnt slip in your hand while you are admiring your new toy!
I would recommend this only if your are VERY careful with your phone to begin with.
